Excellent!
I used to stay up late to watch Night Flight every Friday nite back in the early 80's (I think it ran from midnite to 3am)
Wow! Much to blow the mind and greatly affected my teen years. I still have hours of tapes somewhere in the garage that I timer recorded when I couldn't watch...
Glad to see that there are other archivists putting Night Flight up for us to enjoy again, or for the first time...

A little too psychedelic for my taste but well done. It's hard to express in words how much I miss Night Flight, MTV's Oddities and Liquid Television.

You guys realise this is about appropriation, right? Cartoonists being inspired by what came before them and taking from it. That's what the title means.

Boing Boing not mentioning a copyright issue has me a bit confused.

Cripes, this is incredible. Talk about visual overload. Kudos to the animator for even conceiving of such metamorphoses, let alone executing them.

&#9658 This needs to be made into an interactive display that reacts to music LIVE. Have various cartoon characters morph into other various characters of varying sizes maybe in relation to loudness and tempo, etc.

For example during quiet, less active musical parts of a song, little tadpoles swim around, then when it gets louder, more intense it morphs to elephants, etc. There could be so many cool variations and and interesting versions could be limitless.

It would be the ultimate screensaver. Developers... make something interactive like this and you'll make some gold. Make it for computers, smart phones, tablets, etc.

Where'd I get this idea? This video from Andreas Hykade and space aliens from the Sirius system. If there's already something like this idea out there, someone please lemme know.
