Hey, Seattle! Reminder: I'll be at the Sunset Tavern tonight at 7PM as part of my For the Win tour. Tomorrow (Saturday), it's Portland, at the Powell's in Beaverton at 2PM. Then it's off to SFO, AUS, RDU, NYC and YYZ! (Full tour schedule) Hope to see you!

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

You gonna have copies of FTW for sale on sight?

    • Cory Doctorow

Well, *I* won’t (I’m not a bookseller, I’m an author!) but I’d be pretty surprised if the events people weren’t selling the book… Hope to see you!

  • MrScience

Drat! I was rather hoping to make it out there, but due to an unexpectedly long engagement I didn’t get back into Seattle until 9:30. Hope it went well!

Have fun in Seattle. We go some nice weather for you!

  • ultranaut

Cool, I’m taking off work a little early so I can make it there on time. Just wondering if I should swing by a bookstore en route to get a physical copy. Any idea how late it should run? Also, still think you won’t be up for anything later? We’re planning on walking down the street for pizza and beer afterwards.

  • Cory Doctorow

I think it’ll be 1-2h. Alas, I’ve got to turn into a pumpkin as soon as it ends so I can get a half-night’s sleep before leaving for PDX in the morning. Thanks for the invite tho!
