Here's an 8-bit, Nintendo-esque homage to the Twilight Saga movie, Eclipse, which opened today to relatively lousy reviews. I think this interactive YouTube game might be more entertaining than the film. Watch the video, and choose which action the character should take by clicking on the option you want. Then, a new video loads with the next step in the interactive narrative. It's pretty neat.

Video Link, for part 1 of the story.

(thanks, Mark Day!).

pulled from youtube for violation of what?? Parody where? So dudes, what’s the youtube alternative? Can you peeps start posting alternative links? about half the videos i’ve seen linked to lately have been pulled.

It’s been taken down for a copyright claim! This is a parody, isn’t it? Fair Use!

  • WhyBother

“This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Summit Entertainment LLC.”

I got Bella “ironically beaten to death with a baseball bat.” …what a great day :D

  • MadRat

Congratulations to the first 10 people who got to see it and too bad for all of the rest of us. Copyright was intended to protect the little guy from big business, these days it’s become the opposite. I’ve been fed-up with this stupidity for far too long.

  • iheartbeijing

this was waaaay too much fun.

holy jesus greatness 8bit wonderment decision trees

52% is not a “relatively lousy” score for Rotten Tomatoes. I am not a big Twilight fan but the all the hate has become far more annoying than the fandom, and that is saying a lot.

  • Capissen

    This is BRILLIANT.

  • Daemon

Do you get the option to have Bella develop a personality?

  • relawson

I had not idea something like that could be done with youtube!

Choose your own adventure is my favorite type of story line even though they are all pre-determined ;)

that was awesome! I got two people zapped by lightning!

I’m not going to try again, but it was a great ending! haha

    blatant neologizing… choose-your-tube adventures?
