Hackers prepare for first "national holiday" in their honor

8 out of 11 here, too. Looks like I picked the wrong week to start taking quizzes.

    • Felton

Surely 8 out of 11 isn’t that bad.

      • Nelson.C

I would say that was quite good, as I only got 5 out of 11. I hang my head in shame.

        And don’t call me Shirley.

  • Xenu

How about quizzes for Top Secret, Hot Shots, Police Squad/Naked Gun, etc?

Also in honor of Airplane’s 30th anniversary, Paramount has removed all video of Airplane! from YouTube. You search for anything about airplane, and you get actual airplanes.

This morning I was going to link a video of Johnny going “…and Leon’s getting laaaarger” to a pregnant friend’s facebook page. But noooooooo.

BTW, I got 10/11. Best movie ever.

  • jaythor

9/11 + the bonus question. Insert relevant movie quote here…

  • Bionicrat2

    Good quiz!

    • Anonymous

But… is it dubbed in Bavarian?

  • nixiebunny

That is a good quiz. It has some tough questions. I got 9/11 right, so I must be just a tad luckier than the average Boinger. It couldn’t be those 800 times I watched that movie, surely.

  • David K. Israel

Rio Grande is a fake-out for Macho Grande, which, of course, is from Airplane II, so either way, it’s a fake-out for the real trouble, which is Elaine.

  • Anonymous

    I call shenanigans.

I would have had 100% but I missed the question about Ted Stryker’s drinking problem.

Because Ted Stryker DIDN’T have a problem getting over RIO Grande. He had a problem getting over MACHO Grande.

    Shenanigans, I call it.

  • Felton

8 out of 11 correct. I thought I’d do better, since I saw that film a gazillion times when I was a kid. Bet I could ace a Top Secret quiz, though!

  • Anonymous

question #2, It’s Macho Grande, not Rio Grande

  • Anonymous

    11/11! Um…should I be proud of that?

  • kingzilch

Ted couldn’t get over *Rio* Grande?
