  1. Well, awesome except for the need to be connected to myspace to listen to any other songs. :-(

  2. Absolutely amazing, Am loving this! Infact first thing in the morning this is going as my new ringtone.. yes I love it that much!

  3. “Wicked Game” was on my list of songs (along with most songs by The Smiths) that should never, ever be covered. Clearly, I was wrong, this is awesome. Its a great job on a very hard song.

  4. I’m not crazy about the limited sounds of chiptunes, but this is a surprisingly excellent cover.

    Nice work, mate.

  5. I’d like to send this one out to my long lost love, GlaDOS. Life hasn’t been the same since that explosion.

  6. I wanted to like this, a lot. I like chiptunes. And I *love* ‘Wicked Games’.

But it just felt like frippery laid over a minimalist masterpiece. Ugh. No thanks.

    Back to better chiptunes!

  7. Ahhhh, it’s okaaaay. But I gotta say:

    1) You can’t be the original, as with most cover versions.

    2) A band that’s doing really interesting, original stuff with guitars and 8-bit is The Depreciation Guild. Check them out here:

    That is all.

    1. Well, I am not trying to be the original. heh. I just do this kind of stuff on the side and just did this one cover for fun. The album I am putting out will have 4 originals, and this one cover. My main stuff I do is under the name “OxygenStar” And yes The Depreciation Guild RULE.

  8. Not bad, but emphasis on 8-bit style. I don’t mind vocals, but I was a bit surprised at hearing a guitar.

  9. I appreciate you all checking out the track. :) I don’t have much music released yet, because I just started doing this type of my music under the “sadnes” name. But PAUSE MUSIC will putting out my first album on August 13th, which will have 4 originals and this cover on it. And (as mentioned above) I will be playing PULSEWAVE in NYC with NonFinite and Battle Lava on July 31st !!!! It will be my 2nd show as sadnes.
