A coffee mug in the form of a Canon 24-105mm lens. Complete with lens-cap lid, rubber-grip focus and zoom rings, and auto-focus switch with actual switchability. I am wowed, but concerned that I might mistake it for an actual lens one foggy morning, when I am in need of both forms of focus assistance.

I have the lens that this coffee mug is imitating. I guess I’ll have to get the mug now too.

  • ackpht

And the red stripe means it’s really good coffee.

  • JPW

What’s the etiquette for informing Xeni that she’s, uh, almost a year late on this one?

Now, an SX-70 canteen . . . that would really be something!

There is also a 70-200 F4 version that was released only in Canada.

    Where’s my Nikkor 18-105mm AF/VR coffee mug?

  • Anonymous

awesome…i want one! Can I get an ice-tea glass that looks like by 300mm lens??

  • Sagodjur

Great. Now the police can harass me for taking photographs in public places with my coffee…

  • Rajio

Tip: check ebay and you can get one, with shipping, for about half that price. You’re welcome.

  • Rob Cruickshank

And a camera lens in the shape of a coffee mug can be found here:

I’d be more concerned about mistaking an actual lens for my coffee mug, but either way it’s no fun.

They were giving these away free with purchase at a Canadian camera chain a few months ago. Sadly, my wallet couldn’t handle the extra demand. :(

Why be concerned? It’s a Cannon lens. ;-)

Towlemonkey — we’ve just recently found a supplier for a high-quality Nikon version. Should have it in two weeks! :)

    Will tip over too easy.

  • towlemonkey

I wonder if they’ll make a Nikon version. I’m sure the Leica version would cost at least twice as much.

    • zureta

      There you go.

Nice. Reminds me of the router (as in woodworking) mug I got from Rockler some years back, though this one’s much more detailed.
