Woman calls 911 in attempt to get a date

This is an interview with Bernadette Music, 43, of Norwood, Ohio, who is in trouble with the law for calling 911, multiple times, as part of her efforts to find a date. She's also been in court for allegedly using her apartment hallway as a restroom. But it's her calls to the emergency number as a date line that are grabbing attention. From WCPO:

Music says she's taking it all in stride and is committed to her boyfriend Jimbo.

"I'm not ashamed of it. What the heck, it happened, I didn't realize I did that," said said.

  Every time I worry about my drinking a little bit, I say to myself: “Well, at least I haven’t made any recent 911 calls asking for a date.”

  “A malicious call like this hampers the abilities of the dispatchers to put out runs on a timely manner,” said Norwood Police Sergeant David Lewis.

  Uuuum, malicious? Really?

  I think he means stupid.

  That’s just kind of pathetic. That being said I’m sure 911 gets plenty of pathetic calls from drunks. Unfortunately it has consequences, although I doubt she’ll learn anything from it.
