Additionally, I don’t find myself overly concerned with his affiliation with a website that ogles or rates women in a boorish and immature fashion. Really, any young male has done that in some capacity and political affiliation does not factor into that type of behavior.

My comparison to the Bush family and their legacy is because the political cachet of the Quayle family is owed primarily to the patronage of the Bush network. So, their tactics for acquiring and securing power are germane. The overall mechanism of that network acts to suppress, marginalize, and even eliminate threats, not necessarily on the direct instruction of a Ben Quayle, but just as a protective measure to secure the greater integrity of the entire network. Ben Quayle’s skeletons, if he actually has any of note, will be automatically addressed by persons unknown to him just as a matter of course. He won’t have to place any phone calls or make any direct requests.

It is amusing to note that his initial foray into the political process is a misstep. Taking the “worst president ever” approach, seemingly clueless to Lloyd Bentsen’s famous “you’re no JFK” rejoinder against his father. However, Bush Jr. routinely made missteps, errors, displayed astonishing ignorance, but that is why minders are paid so well. Someone will clean up Ben Quayle’s poo poo and it will likely not slow down his ascent much, if at all.

He just needs to stand around, wave, take orders faithfully, and keep his jawline relatively flab free with regular visits to the tennis court to keep his candidacy on track.

Also, I can’t wait for him to knock the hell out of people who don’t understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child.

And finally, I can’t wait for him to knock the hell out of those who would keep the human race from entering the solar system.

Of course, he probably plans on knocking the hell out of anyone who makes fun of him for being Dan Quayle’s kid, so I’ll stop now.

Oh, come on, just because Buchanan was at the very least culpable in starting the Civil war and had treason charges seriously considered against him you think he is worse than a president who works to drop health care costs below 17% of GDP, put regulations in place to make future financial criseses more shallow, invest in scientific advancement so the US doesn’t become irrelevant, and the terribly grave sin of only slowly fixing the worst economic downturn in 70 years. I mean, clearly there is something dastardly about a president that takes 5 months from entering office to create positive change in economic indicators. If that isn’t the making for worst president in history, in fact worst ruler in history, on par or worse than Nero, Hitler, and compatriots, I really don’t know what is.

It would explain his meager grasp on American history.
