Images Drewfriedman Images 4238664230 The inimitable Drew Friedman has a new hardcover book out of his incredible celebrity portraits and caricatures drawn over the last 15 years for The New Yorker, Entertainment Weekly, Business Week, Mojo, and a variety of other mags, books, and CD covers. Our pals at Fantagraphics published the handsome hardcover, titled Too Soon?: Famous/Infamous Faces 1995-2010. Jimmy Kimmel wrote the foreword and Rush Limbaugh endorsed it with this glowing review: "Of low artistic quality." See sample pages over at Drawger or pick up a copy for $20 at Amazon. Congratulations, Drew!

Ordinarily I’d not buy it but since Rush Limbaugh dislikes it…

  • neward

Was Limbaugh commenting on his own portrait or does have a book review portion of his show?

  • zio_donnie

    How soon is now?

  • Lobster

Jimmy Kimmel involved in something potentially offensive? You don’t say.

  • Teller

Such a fine drawer. There’s something in his work that reminds me of Dave Berg.

  • Cowicide

Rush Limbaugh endorsed it with this glowing review: “Of low artistic quality.”

Awesome. It must be great if that idiot doesn’t like it.

  • David Pescovitz

    fixed, thanks.

  • johnofjack

    No one writes a forward.

    • skeletoncityrepeater

You could have corrected it without being cryptic.. ‘Foreword’. That’s what Jimmy Kimmel wrote.]

And you CAN write a forward, say, if you wanted to ask Steve Nash for his autograph.

But can you write a prologue in PROLOG?
