In the impossibly excellent Boing Boing DIY Hallowe'en Costume thread, Boing Boing reader "everyplace" says,
My friend Ben Gersch's Edward Scissorhands costume, made out of goodwill clothes, pizza boxes and sculpy, is a pretty great example in my mind of DIY.
Also from the same timeframe: Ben at the gas station we worked at, in costume and at Eat’n’Park experiencing the drama that Edward would have had trying to fit into normal society.
No way. Those additional images are incredible.
You’ll put your eye out.
Edward Chopstick Hands.
Wow. That is simply AWESOME. I bet he was handy with the pizzas. Slice, slice, slice, a piece for all.
A couple of comments…
The facial hair is just wrong. If ESH is anything, he’s clean shaven.
There are some simply amazing photos on the guy’s Flickr site.
I was about to lament the same thing, but the additional pics show him shaven and with proper makeup. Awesome costume!!
How about mini Edward Scissorhands?
i think it’s exceptional. however, i was expecting to see Heidi Klum.
