"I just saw this DIY robocop costume for a 2-year-old kid. Best part is, he actually lives in Detroit and did a whole photo shoot around town, even with real Detroit police."

Oh, whatever. I was born TWO years before Robocop and saw the entire trilogy before the end of elementary school.

A lot of pop culture knowledge isn’t about age; it’s about the type of interests you have, the kind of crowds you run.

A person who’s 40 and not a geek is likely more ignorant of pre-1980 pop culture than a devoted geek of 20. (Heck, even my non-geeky friends know who Robocop is. Fucking Robocop!)
