AS the winter holiday; the celebration of greenery, life, the oncoming promise of spring which hold in our hearts as we wait through the cold, is older than the church who usurped it, I would support, and do support the deeply green nature of this holiday and hope that this edition of this pro-science effort to make great tree decortations, is added to with deeply green ornaments.

We wait the holiday proclaims for the return of green, who better top help focus on the coming "spring" of a balanced abundant rich ecology than "Rachel Carson"

Hi,

They're OK

But they're not really "festive" are they?

It's the one time of year when I want glitz, tinsel and general spanglyness.

Christmas is a lot greener for those of us who live in the Southern Hemisphere. It's in the middle of summer, three days after the longest day of the year. I thoroughly recommend it!

I think these wood ornaments need a little shiny ribbon threaded through the top to festive them up.

Heh - put together with the Giant Microbes Christmas decorations, it's looking to be a very geeky Christmas.

I'm particularly liking the inclusion of many famous women scientists.
