I am crazy for these illustrations by Josh Cooley. Above, Alien, at left, 2001, and there are many more here (Lebowski, Terminator, The Shining, Chinatown, Clockwork Orange, American Beauty, Rosemary's Baby, The Godfather...).

Prints at $50 each (limited edition of 100, signed and numbered by the artist) and other related items, like this Golden Book-style book with all of 'em, $35.

    But… but… he’s just stealing other people’s ideas! He’s a thieving thief!

Man, if the Lebowski scenes were a bit more uh, family friendly, I would be all over it. What a funny idea.

    Brilliant. Absolutely, positively, brilliant.

Wait…is “illos” actually a real word, short for illustrations? Seriously?

      It’s in pretty common use.

    Fantastic.

i don’t get this, Alien was dark, moody and scary, this is like just a sample of parts of that but even then its sanitized. Is the idea here supposed to be “the cute version”?

    I want these on t-shirts!

    So awesome!

I always found that scene from Godfather II one of the most painful to watch. Oh Fredo… “you broke my heart”.
