I am crazy for these illustrations by Josh Cooley. Above, Alien, at left, 2001, and there are many more here (Lebowski, Terminator, The Shining, Chinatown, Clockwork Orange, American Beauty, Rosemary's Baby, The Godfather...).

  i don’t get this, Alien was dark, moody and scary, this is like just a sample of parts of that but even then its sanitized. Is the idea here supposed to be “the cute version”?

  I always found that scene from Godfather II one of the most painful to watch. Oh Fredo… “you broke my heart”.
