What kind of japanese cargo ship docks at the ISS?? I realize that I could take the time to go google it and find out (and I will, shortly), but I think the wording here is a little bizarre. Is it a shuttle? Some kind of single use job? How ’bout a name? What’s it doing there?

I just read the linked article and it’s just plain skimpy on details, but it does say “robot cargo ship”. JAPAN HAS ROBOT CARGO SPACE SHIPS. AWESOME!!

      • Sam

Aww, I’m sad now. The robot cargo space ship, Kounotori 2, will be stuffed with trash and jettisoned, to burn up in the atmosphere on the 28th of March. GOOD BYE, LITTLE ROBOT!
