Sony's 2011 Vaio Z

Sony's Vaio Z has a 13.1" 1600×900 display, an i7 processor, 256GB solid state drive, and has about the same dimensions as (but is a little lighter than) the 13" MBA. It also has a backlit keyboard, HDMI output, and optional 3G internet. With it comes an unusual dock with a more powerful video card–the Radeon HD6650M 1GB–and Sony's version of the newfangled Thunderbolt ports, which use USB connectors. This will be out in July; expect pricing to be well north of the MacBook Air. [Press release]
