Gweek is Boing Boing's podcast about comic books, science fiction & fantasy, video games and board games, tools, gadgets, apps, and other neat stuff.

In episode 009, Rob and Mark interview Nate Simpson, creator of the stunning new comic book Nonplayer. We also discuss digital cameras, video editing software,  Spotify  music service, and Mark's visit to the Trivia Championships of North America held this year in Las Vegas (congrats to Boing Boing reader Adam Villani for kicking butt in the competition!).

Adam isn’t the only Boing Boing reader who did well at TCONA last weekend! Hi, Mark, I was sitting right across from you at the opening Kickoff Quiz on Friday night, but I didn’t get a chance to say Hello. Just too much going on.

Anyone who likes answering questions and knowing things, start making plans now for next year. This event was jam-packed with quizzy goodness.

Woo hoo! Nice meeting you, Mark. Also congratulations to my teammates Joshua Kreitzer and Sam Medley, and to all the others who competed, especially Jonathan Hess (who walked away with 4 medals, I think), as well as Myron Meyer and the other members of the Hottest Bar Trivia Format in Sioux Falls team, who beat us in the team final!
