At $400 you can buy a truly stellar ASUS Transformer, so why buy an also ran?

You can by an Android device for less than $100, play with it and decide if you want to move up to a better tablet or phone. Within a year i’ll bet that number is down to $50-75. Low end disruption at it’s finest.

if you have to commit to a $400 tablet or a 2 year contract to play with WebOS it’s not gonna happen.

The sad thing is Palm has so many layers of apparatchiks from being purchased by UsRobotics, 3Com, and HP that it is incapable of any agility. Couple this with the level of disappointment from former supporters and you have a doomed company. A pity…

Ok, I cut the cost of my poop. Will you buy it now?  Where did Handspring run off to?

Transformer is just another crummy also-ran, too; there’s better on offer!

Also, those $100 tablets are just junk. They’re a terrible advertisement for the OS.

Crazy thing is, WebOS may be the most “open” of the tablet os to date (until Meego shows up on a tablet). Also, HP should get this product to the world market asap!
