Rachel Maddow featured an excellent BB post that Cory wrote about "trick" t-shirts to punk neo-nazis on last night's show. She described BB as "One of the websites that most justifies the existence of the entire internet." Thank you, Rachel!

Video, and on the Maddow Blog.

Ha ha! Joke’s on them. Neo-Nazis don’t wash their clothes!

I saw this last night (while panting on the ellipsis machine).  She really did give a good plug for BoingBoing… I was actually scared that traffic might increase enough to inconvenience me today.

As for the issue at hand, I don’t know if Neo-Nazis wash clothes or not… but I suspect they like to get revenge especially when their noses have been rubbed in it for being had all over the net and now on international news.  I hope the Exit Deutschland people are ok after this.

I’m sure they’re aware of this, and keep their head up, considering what they do.

But yeah, I saw this too last night, and was rather pleased at the BB plug!

worried boing was gonna get boinged, eh?  that would’ve been kinda cool.

As Worf would say: Handing out these shirts was an act of unmitigated gall. I admire gall…

yes, rachel sent me here last night and after 10 minutes on your site i liked it on facebook.  i don’t usually watch msnbc, but my mom was over and she lives on it, so i guess it was fate.

    Welcome!

I wish the media would get it straight.

There is no such thing as a nazi Skinhead, the proper name is Bonehead.  The idea of a nazi skinhead is as ridiculous a thing as the idea of white supremest gangbangers or nazi hip hop.

Skinhead style, music and attitude came from West Indie rude boys.  You can’t claim the name without claiming the history.

    • Mister44

Well… I think you can. I am aware of the origins of the style, but they have perverted it. The term has and style is tarnished, just as the formerly benevolent swastika.

And there is Nazi hip hop: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpRqvCps_MQ

    good 1

  • CognitiveDissident

    A missed opportunity.
If they had used some sort of thermal color changing paint, then they could have made the words appear on the back of the shirts, but only when it was being worn. Then they might not notice right away.

Hah! I always knew Maddow had great taste.
