I think this guy has sent me email asking for my help. Something to do with a financial transaction. Seemed legit.

I mean who cares if Nigeria and Uganda are more then 3600 miles apart, that their culture, language, etc are completely different, and that they are on opposite sides of africa… dork…

I think it’s interesting. Sort of good, sort of bad. good for what it is of course.

  4. RJ says:

A dubstep remix would actually improve it.

Finally someone to knock Mark Gormley off his throne.

I’m serious, I mean that as a compliment.  Really.

Will no one think of the poor, American rappers whose livelihoods are being stolen by cheap, imported African rappers offering true love?

I like him.  Catchy tune, silly video and he is actually singing!  For some reason the song reminds me of New Edition.

  20. Blazeldude says:

I actually thought this was going to be good.

    How wrong I was.

  21. Boom captains hat, boom colors, boom soaring bridge. I actually thought this was going to be good. How right I was.

  22. gws says:

Yeah. I was sorta horrifascinated so I watched the whole thing. It’s pretty bad, but then again where’s MY music video in which I sway back and forth in front of a green screen and offer true love to a series of appalling women? (Actually, Pink Hair is kinda cute.) Gotta give him credit for doing what he wants.

  23. Rom says:

The song is fine — an informed, worldly fusion of African music, Caribbean reggae, and American R&B. And he can sing — much better so than your average Idol tryout. It’s the video that’s corny.

  24. Wish him the best of course, but, just no. Yeah the video is corny, but more than anything he needs to work with someone else on the music, lyrics, & well voice & singing…

@gws: Pinky is kinda cute. I’d love to see more of her in other poorly conceived low budget videos

  29. Nelson Olara says:

As we listen and react in our different ways to the music, let’s reflect upon our lifestyls and see if we are offering the “True Love” which is the main theme in Uncle Ricky’s track. Perhaps “True Love” not  “Ture Lus”t might slow down the divorce rate in our society.
