		<description>I just couldn&#039;t resist signing up for this.  But a few caveats for any of you interested.

The event appears to be hosted by something called on24.  When you get to the confirmation page, the following is part of the lengthy message you are presented with:

Internet Explorer (IE) 6.0 or above is recommended for viewing 
this live event. Firefox with RealPlayer is recommended for Mac users. 

I don&#039;t know where to even begin with this... IE 6? RealPlayer? RealPlayer for Mac?

But the icing on the cake was probably the fact that when i tried to right-click my text selection to paste it in this post, i was presented with a pop-over that told me &quot;this operation is not allowed&quot;.  Ctrl-C apparently works just fine.

Not trying to rag on the good folks at Institute of Physics. They&#039;re physicists after all.  It&#039;s not like they&#039;d be all that web savvy.
