		<description>The articles ends with one stinker, though- the notion that Viking 1/2 might have brought along colonies with them- trouble is, they are the Mars probes *least* likely to have brought along hitchhikers, since they were intentionally, brutally sterilized to ensure there was no contamination of the life detection package- much to the chagrin of the engineers who had to design 1970&#039;s computers that could be baked for days on end. Subsequent probes have not been nearly as squeaky clean.</description>
