Two bits of glad tidings: first, Charlie Stross announces that we've turned in the manuscript for our collaborative, post-Singularity comic novel Rapture of the Nerds; second, my agent Russ Galen has sold Homeland, the sequel to my 2008 novel Little Brother, to Tor, in "a significant deal."

Great news!  I really enjoyed Little Brother, and I read Rule 34 and the Laundry Files books by Stross on your recommendation.  I’m sure Rapture of the Nerds is right up my alley.

The news about Little Brother 2 made my day, but then I read up on the what Rapture of the Nerds is about and I’m looking forward to that. too. I hope I don’t have to wait until next September for both books.

So…will “Homeland” not be released as an e-book on craphound (as Little Brother was)?

Liking the shit out of the idea of a sequel to “Little Brother”!

Awesome.  Congratulations!  Like chrisspurgeon, I’m thrilled that you’re continuing that story.  That and Makers are providing sorely needed models of a new kind of david/goliath narrative and hope that there’s a way through this storm.  Besides being page-turning runaway trains, that is. :-)

I hope your “significant deal” involved embarrassingly large sums of filthy lucre.

    When Homeland can read?

Hi Cory, I hope you’ll be selling Homeland in a Kindle-friendly format, really loved Little Brother and keen to read this one, but I really don’t want to buy any more paper.
