Wim Delvoye merges X-rays with stained glass to make religio-anatomical art.

Wim Delvoye - XRAYS [wimdelvoye.be]

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

Indeed it is.  Though after Canadian Thanksgiving mine seems to be occupying more space, must have built an addition.

We’ve got a whole installation mimicking a cathedral of these works in our museum of modern art here in the Ggrand-Duchy of Luxembourg MUDAM. Check the link:

I would dearly love to see these in person. And then start laying out blurry photographs of Elizabeth Taylor and blown-up reproductions of frames 220-228 of Zapruder’s film.

I’m not proud to admit, but when I was younger I stole a whole stack of x-rays from a medical records warehouse (they were all duplicates!).

They made lovely lamp shades. Windows blinds too. I really had fun with those things, wish I had hung onto them…
