So Hyun Woo creates amazing, weird steel-welded beloved fantasy creatures from classic children's literature, often toting large and impressive armaments. Many appeared in a show called "Cruel Fairy Tales 3" at the Song Eun Art Space in Seoul.

Children’s Book Characters Arm Themselves for the Looming Fairytale Apocalypse [thisiscolossal.com]

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

Second: these sculptures are absolutely kick-ass wonderful!

Had the above sculpture been on Kris Kristofferson’s Mack’s hood, Convoy might have ended very differently.

Nah… Zoe Bell would still kick everyone’s ass.

Yeah, but Rose McGowan might not have gotten into the car.
