Forget it, everyone: there can be no greater jack-o'-lantern theme for 2011. Robert Pearlman tweets this snapshot of a pumpkin carved as an homage to the Space Shuttle Program, which ended this year.

    That’s pretty cool! Hopefully somebody will do a more detailed version, with the light only shining through the windows and booster rockets. I know, I’m extremly demanding in my pumpkin halloween art.
    Or to put another way; I may not know much about pumpkins, but I know what I like. ;)
