Doctor Who- Matt Smith style Hoodie- Easy Halloween Costume Idea

(via The Mary Sue)

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

    Wow, that’s really ugly.

  • Xedrik

I wear a bowtie hoodie now.  Bowtie hoodies are cool!

I can’t imagine even the geekiest of Who-geeks would stoop to wearing this ugly thing.

  • penguinchris

Yep, ugly… on the other hand if you made a hoodie with a tweed-like pattern all over with the shirt pattern and bowtie on the front, you might have something.

Actually, that would still be pretty ugly. If you want to dress like The Doctor, go to a thrift store and buy a tweed jacket (you’re on your own finding a bow tie, but they’re not hard to find at the mall). It’ll be just as warm and comfortable as a hoodie (assuming it’s the correct size), and you’ll look 1000x better than if you wear a hoodie.
