"Inglourious Animals" is a rather clever and well-done mashup of footage from Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr Fox and Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds, mostly using the former's footage and the latter's soundtrack.

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

    That’s pretty fantastic.

  • bikewrecked

I liked both movies. And I would totally watch that. I think I’d love to see a Quentin Tarantino animated flick.

    • morcheeba

I loved Quentin’s animation sequences in Kill Bill  … he was very involved in their production:  http://www.cgsociety.org/index.php/CGSFeatures/CGSFeatureSpecial/kill_bill_anime_sequences

    • Ramone

Agreed. And while (someone just stated that) he had animated sequences in Kill Bill, I’d love to see his take on stop-motion animation.

  • chgoliz

I also love both movies, and think the full experience (feature length mashup) would be priceless.

  • elldeegee

For god’s sake, don’t let Hitler hear about this, or he’ll go off on one of his YouTube rants…

    heheheh..just like it..

  • Rich Keller

    Ha! This is a riot.

Tarantino should do a kid’s movie, or someone should do a movie about Tarantino having to make a kid’s movie.

    • Just Good Sense

If Greg the Bunny had been on HBO, it just about might have gotten there.

  • deep_sneakers

    Shouldn’t it be Fantastic Basterds?

  • LintMan

    Or The Inglorious Mr Fox?

    Inglorious Animels.

  • animwriter

I do happen to have a WWII animated feature screenplay with all animal characters.  If the mod thinks it’s on-topic or otherwise okay, I will post a link…

    • Antinous / Moderator

      No problem.

    Thanks, Antinous!
