DrFaustusAU, whom you'll remember from this autumn's Dr Seuss meets Cthulhu mashup, is back at the drawing table, with There Goes A Gozerian, Ghostbuster: a reimagining of Ghostbusters as a Dr Seuss book.

There Goes A Gozerian, Ghostbuster (via Super Punch)

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

Cool art :) Why he eyes is close?

Who appears in that big portal? Why, it’s Gozer, with friend Zuul and friend Vinz Clortho!

Gozer asks Ray if he’s a god – When he says “No”, Gozer goes “ZZZZZZOD!”

When someone asks if you’re a god, you should simply smile and nod!

I do not like your slippery slime, I do not like the way you rhyme!
Do you take me for a fool? There is no Dana, only Zuul!

  • chaopoiesis

Output flawless audio – why am I drooling?

Oops, sorry – thought I was commenting on “If an HP ad was a Boing Boing post”.

Last year a friend of mine did Dr. Suess Star wars images.  BTW, he was kicked off Zazzle and the awful Cafe Press out of fear that his parodies would draw fire from Lucas. As far as I know, parody is protected, but those sites are gutless in that area.

Needs a catchier title. I suggest “Horton Hears a Horror” or “Mr. Brown can Boo! Can You?”
