forgot to say…claiming that defacing petitions is free speech, along with intimidating voters is just the sort of thing the extremist right-wing claims to be free speech.

I didn’t read the link (WISN’s editing is for crap and their “articles” give me headaches), but from what I see here, it seems like they workers got yelled at, not really threatened per se.  I saw the same sort of treatment when I signed petitions outside Outpost Foods in Wauwatosa a few weeks back – middle fingers a-waving and spittle a-flying – but thus far it hasn’t been any physical intimidation (if you discount the guy who got in line and scribbled all over a signed petition in West Bend).

Wonder if Walker or the Grey Eminences the Koch Brothers will quietly pay this chickenshit goon’s legal bills. The mouthbreather brigade won’t take kindly to watching their bretheren put their asses on the line only to be left to twist in the wind by those who are egging them on.

You can speak all you want but you cannot disrupt a lawful assembly.  This is the very definition of disorderly conduct.

I spent a good 20 minutes trying to find his phone number so I could post it… Came up blank though. So I guess your accusation would properly be “as long as someone with better research skills than you finds it”.

There is no end to the supply of unthinking idiots out there. It reminds me of a tax day protest I was at years ago when this buffoon drives up, hangs out the window of his beater truck and bellowed “fuck you dumb kids! I didn’t fight in the war so you commie bastards could stand around and protest the greatest nation on the planet.” The answer he received was calm, peaceful and to the tune of “yeah, how dare we excercise the rights that so many fought and died for.  We’re sorry you don’t see it that way but you are entitled to your opinion.” He looked at us for a bewildered minute, couldn’t think of anything more to say and then drove off. Hopefully that makes one less idiot but there are a million more where that guy came from.

A real shame.
