Drink your cannabis, say some raw-pot advocates. It won't get you high, but it's good for you. I'm skeptical, but I know one thing: unless you're growing your own, it is likely not good for your wallet.

    Lemme get this straight:  If you consume your cannabis in solid or gaseous form you’ll get high, but if you consume it in liquid form you won’t.

      Don’t know if it’s true, but I think he claims that heat is required to create / release THC. Too much heat (smoking) breaks down much of it too … but he may be right that some heat is needed in the first place. I suspect you WOULD get high, but I also suspect it would be FAR less efficient than cooking a bit in oil would.

        Yeah, your average po-thead knows that the active ingredients are soluble in oil. Just eating raw weed doesn’t get you anywhere. You fry it up in a bit of oil, gently, and add the resulting concoction to baked goods or whatever.

    Was I mistaken in thinking that the whole “getting high” part was the (mental) health benefit?! Sounds like snake oil and multi-vitamins.
