I totally did not know about this band. Love the song. Love the video. It’s kinda a horror western set in England. Beyond cool.

Even cooler is that they are playing at Fitzgerald’s  in six weeks according to their website.  Hooray!

We are here to say we love any band (especially one this good!) with a name that brings attention the biggest policy failure of our time.  Even the title of the track makes me think of all my “brothers” in prison awaiting societal change on the outside.  Intellectual consistency demands a new approach to drug policy. Thanks BoingBoing!

To those that support militarism in the U.S., the war on drugs is not a failure. It’s what we specialize in.

I sorta want this as a movie.

Very nice and perfectly creepy. It looks like the mansion from ’28 Days Later’.

One of my favorite songs of 2011 was Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kids,” which deserved an eerie evocative video like this. Instead what was delivered was a lame “how cool are we” vid of the photogenic bandmembers mugging for the camera, surfing, standing around and throwing frisbees. SO lame.
