Here's a handsome Blue Screen of Death Valentine's heart. Kathrn Cramer calls it, "A stick-on icon for relationships with a blown motherboard: how to say its over on Valentine's Day."

Heart Sticker (Thanks, Kathryn!)

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

Spring, when a young man’s heart turns to public break-ups on Facebook.

good idea but that doesn’t look like any bsod i’ve ever seen.  if i saw that heart somewhere i’d say ‘hey, blue heart’ and never make the connection to bsod.

  • SamSam

    What BSOD is that?

Here are the Google Images for Blue Screen of Death. They all look like BSODs, and don’t look like this.

    It’s a nice idea, though.

The BSOD is royal blue; this fail heart is closer to Twitter blue.
