Kitties and Titties (NSFW)

A Tumblog of Greatness: kitties and titties (NSFW). Contains nudity, both female and feline. Not for kids, or for adults browsing the web while at work. BB mod Antinous points out that they omitted one obvious image (that one's safe for work). (thanks, Tara McGinley)

    1.  Meh – it is just a collection of fairly standard pictures of naked women and pictures of kitties.

A real  accomplishment would contain pictures that have both a naked woman and a cat in each.

  1.  I’ve never understood the NSFW tag. It seems to be reserved for nudity, but if you’re looking at pictures of clothed women (or cats) you’re still not working. I wouldn’t want to be caught doing either. Moreover, I can think of a couple of situations  in which looking at naked women might be part of your job.

    1. I think it’s kind of dumb, but I use it out of respect for many of our readers who find it helpful and get upset if it’s not included with posts that reference or link to “adult” content.

    2. It’s not just the “you should be working, not looking at pictures” aspect that makes something NSFW; that’s a fairly minor consideration.  It’s 95% about preventing sexual harassment complaints/lawsuits.

    3. Depends on where you work, but some places have strict policies about computer usage which forbids any kind of pornography.  Time-wasting reading blogging sites or other things might be frowned upon, but lots of things labeled NSFW could be grounds for termination.

    4. I’ve worked at a couple of places where you would be sacked on the spot and walked to the door if you were caught looking at that page.

Luckily, I work from home now!

      1. I’ve worked at a couple of places where you would be sacked on the spot and walked to the door if you were caught looking at that page.

I’d be sacked if I didn’t share it with everybody at my job.

  2. I really tried to be interested in the pictures of kittens, I really did. Then I gave up.

    1. Never going to happen. Breasts being used for the purpose they were created for??!! That would be OBSCENITY!!!

      1. There’s a joke about a female brain cell who got into a male brain and found it empty. “Hello!” She called. “Helloooo — is anybody out there?”

She heard a faint reply: “We’re down here!”

  3. When I right clicked on one of the Kitty pictures and told Firefox to open in another tab, an alert from my AVG told me it was trying to deliver a particular trojan.  I closed the message before got the name of the trojan.  The picture was one of a kitty that appeared to be upside-down, but the photo was likely shot from underneath. I did not mess with any other photos except that kitty.

    1. I, too, got a virus warning simply visiting the site (I didn’t click on anything). In my case, Microsoft Security Essentials caught and removed “Exploit:Java/Blacole.ED”.

      Stay away.

    2.  Yep, I noticed that Vista was even more screwed than usual after visiting that site.  I have spent the day tracking down the payload  at C:UsersmeAppDataLocalTempwpbt0.dll which is a nasty little brute.  Now how do I find the hidden registry entry that’s still trying to run it at startup?

  4. it’s 0604   here right now , the weather and the atmosphere at work are not the best,  but that definitely put a smile on my face

  5. I was hoping that the Kitties and Titties would be in the same picture…just for the juggstaposition.

  6. Proving the depth of my wrongness….

Wanna hear about my cat who died of breast cancer?

I think I need to go to bed.

    1. Given that the original blogger, Xeni, is undergoing a very public struggle with breast cancer, the answer to your question is … no.

      1. You did read my first line?
FWIW: my 1st wife would to this day eagerly attest to the fact that I am entirely insensitive and tactless and recognize no interpersonal boundaries and more often than not WRONG even when stating verifiable and obvious facts. Probably all true. OTOH: A dozen years ago I quit a secure job and relocated 600 miles on very short notice to help my eventual 2nd/current/last wife through her breast cancer surgery and treatment.  I brought my 2 cats to join her 2. Since then, we’ve helped support 4 women in our family plus one cat through their own BC fights. POINT: I’m not *just* a jerk…

  7. With all the doom and gloom in the news these days, it’s nice to have an article featuring nature’s combination of perfect functionality and awesome aesthetic design… oh, and the cats are ok too! Thanks Xeni.

  8. So is there gonna be a website with hot dudes and cats?

Or are only straight men allowed to have a gaze?

*slinks off to read yaoi comics*

    1. I’m as confused by your “straight men” comment as I was by the intended target audience for this tumblog. I mean, who the HELL likes titties AND kitties?

      Then it hit me. Lesbians.

      Carry on.

    1. That’s what I came to say. I went to the link, studied it for a while, came back here, and then thought to myself “wait, I don’t remember any pictures of kitties….

  9. I got a malware attack warning when I went to that page, and had to force quit my browser.

  10. Relevant to many above comments, this pic is a good test for lousy filtering in the workplace. Absolutely SFW content. Not sure if the name will make it through Disqus: Cute_chick_with_furry_pussy.jpg

  11. I did pretty well in my biology classes….and I seem to recall that the other half of the human species has titties as well.  Where did they go?

  12. I don’t know how many of you readers are using a virus scanner, but my Windows machine with Security Essentials lit up like a Christmas tree when I went to this page. Please be careful.
