Crehore huh?  The only other time I’ve seen that name is at “The Marble Cemetery” on 2nd street between 1st and 2nd aves in Manhattan.  There is a large-ish stone covering what I believe is an underground mausoleum with the name “Crehore” on it.  I’ve always been fascinated by it for some reason as its one of those names that just sounds old, if you know what I mean.  Old and rare.  Anyhow, if you get a chance, pass it on to Amy, as she may be related.

Oh, the painting is quite nice too :) — like a pleasant dream.

I’ve seen her in Juxtapoz. Very nice of you to share her latest painting. It’s interesting to see that she has taken an ‘occasionally surreal’ direction.

this is lovely.. is it colored pencil?

    Lovely tones.

She seems to be using, for example, violet to darken orange now. I like it. I used to find her shading too ‘grayed down,’ lowering luminosity without changing hue much. Her color interaction seems richer lately.

         Excellent observation.

Is that a purple tentacle in the lower left?

    • Hakuin

Nice butt (you were thinking it too).

  • Lobster

It’s a beautiful and relaxing picture, but is that a tentacle tree in the lower left?

Nicely done all around.  May I ask what medium was used?

NO ONE HAS A TAIL IN THAT PICTURE! That’s just wrong. Amy, please fix this oversight right away.
