It’s protected as “artwork”, maybe parody laws? I’m a designer, not a lawyer. I would assume they’ll be okay. As long as they’re not reproducing en masse for halloween costumes to be sold.

I sincerely hope these superhero costumes can protect against legal attacks. Marvel and DC tend to be vicious about things like this.
