It was on sale for a few days at the end of February as part of a Touch Arcade promo. Price went back to $1.99 on March 2nd.

Cheers to Mark & Jane for the great review :D

$.99 in your review, $1.99 on 3/17/12. Did the developer kick up the price after your review?

Great pick! My 5-year-old will love it. (I admit, I kinda like it too.)

I'm not a developer or at all associated with these people, but these Train Conductor apps are worth checking out:
http://www.thevoxelagents.com/games/

These games really shine on the iPad where you can play cooperatively. Our three year old plays it with us frequently. There's enough minor changes between cities to keep it interesting and it's ultimately a fun game for adults as well as kids. It's more action/reaction than puzzle solving, but there are definite moments of "how do I get out of this mess" and a fair bit of on the fly strategy.

I actually prefer the Train Conductor 2:USA version over the original, but both are good.

These games and Feed the Head are the most played when my son's in charge of the iPad.

I don't know if it would be as fun on an iPhone...

Keep these up. I love the reviews.

Paul
