The molemen pull this once in a while when they run out of brats. A round trip to Usinger’s and a few toilet flushes later and all is well.

I read about brontides when I was a kid, noises like thunder caused by weak seismic activity. This might be  an example of that, but I’m still going  with the molemen.

    My favorite quotes FTA:

“To be honest, I’m skeptical that there’d be a sound report associated with such a small earthquake, but it’s possible,” geophysicist Paul Caruso told the Associated Press, explaining that loud booming noises have been known to accompany earthquakes.

the aliens, of course, there’s always the aliens.

I heard the Mayor of Clintonville was planning on getting shirts made: “I survived the 1.5″  Heh…

“But the arrival of delayed data from seismic monitors abruptly answered lingering questions about booms that have rocked the town since Sunday.”

The data was delayed so it could be drafted to cover up the truth. You see, here’s what happened… *COUGH, CHOKE, DIES MYSTERIOUSLY*
