Rule number one: Don’t let them catch you.

My first world problem is that I am familiar with my rights, but I’m white and live in a good neighborhood, so police never harass me.

    • ZikZak

Go spend time in a poor/non-white neighborhood.  Record the police there.  Not only is it a recipe for guaranteed police harassment, your filming can actually have a real effect on the illegal searches, profiling, etc which happen routinely on “the other side of the tracks”.
Cops count on us thinking we can’t cross the line that divides us from the poor/immigrant/black/homeless part of town, but we can and should cross it.  Because either we all have rights or none of us do.

Sometimes a problem just isnt a problem, like when any sentence starts with or includes “My first world problem”
Just a thought, but surely police corruption will expand its way to you one day soon or you will venture into other areas and then on that day everyone elses rights will suddenly again matter, but it will of course be too late.

Maybe my humor was off, or FWPs have passed as a meme, but my statement was meant somewhat as a joke.  My apologies.
