I didn’t find this very funny either, but the robot is cute. His name is Shakurai-kun (シャクライ君) if you want more from the Google. It looks like he’s from 2002, costs about $50, and pours standard beer cans just fine.

Yeah, I thought it was wonderful. We really aren’t living in the future of helpful robots we were promised! This one probably also bursts into flames for no reason at 3 a.m.

Anyway, I very much hope the people who didn’t like it will take a moment out of their busy day to register their disapproval.
