One of the best that I've read so far is <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Einsteins-Theories-Relativity-Gibilisco/dp/0830615059" rel="nofollow">Understanding Einstein's Theories of Relativity</a> by Stan Gibilisco.  It's short(ish), funny and has a lot of pictures. ETA:Okay, my copy's on order. And I added a copy of How to Teach Physics to Your Dog as well because the pooch has way too much time on his hands.
