I watched that video with my budgie sitting on my shoulder. The budgie was interested but didn't seem to grasp the concepts. I await the budgie versions of the book and video.

I gave up on trying to teach my dog modern physics after he went hog-wild looking for Schrodinger's cat.

I've been reading books on Relativity, particle physics and string theory for a couple of years as an antidote to insomnia. This canine based teaching tool looks really interesting and I'll certainly add it to the bedside stack.
One of the best that I've read so far is <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Einsteins-Theories-Relativity-Gibilisco/dp/0830615059" rel="nofollow">Understanding Einstein's Theories of Relativity</a> by Stan Gibilisco. It's short(ish), funny and has a lot of pictures.
ETA:Okay, my copy's on order. And I added a copy of How to Teach Physics to Your Dog as well because the pooch has way too much time on his hands.
