		<description>Lots of Mac stuff in there, the use of which has exploded in the astronomic community, I&#039;m guessing the advantage is Xcode, making it simple to install and run stuff like KDE.  

Balancing the arid world of data crunching on Unix, .tiffs and .pdfs. while using OSX simultaneously for all other stuff, probably makes the academic part of the daily grind not only convenient, but often more tolerable.

		<description>You know, I think a direct link to an animation for a scientific poster presentation might be one of the only defensible uses of QR codes.

 It would help if conferences would spring for wi-fi throughout the presentation/exhibition halls, though.</description>
