Those are networks that are set up for reporters and photographers. While they are secured networks, posting the SSID's and passwords is not really a bad thing. They do this for all press conference type events. It is highly unlikely that someone saw this on t.v. and compromised the networks.

Maybe your interview technique is different. Personally, I aim to make the victim take a SAN check after the interview.

This isn't that big of a deal, it's only for that particular stadium. Once, I guessed the password at a minor league ballpark. It was the Media Relations Director's name. Real subtle.

The main reason to have passwords on public Wifi is so that the users can't snoop on each other.

Say you set your SSID to "The Password is GUEST", each user's communication gets its own temporary key and none of them can listen in on the others' communications.

No big deal; the access points are probably on isolated networks for visitors (press) who need to check their email/access certain services on MLB's network. It's more like reasonable protection against random people on the street who'd be happy to find an open access point and unwittingly hog their network resources. I can't imagine there's much of a security risk.

What the hell is "FANTASV IMPACT" ?

Something about freemen in above the law for between 1 and four hours ?
A pair of Duck Dodgers and a half dozen Rocky the Flying Squirrels ?
What nature of beast are "Delmon" and how are their young suspended?

I gather that the police somehow folded this guys face outside a NYC hotel the night before, but what's that have to do with Flying Squirrels, speech impeded ducks from the future, or dangeling delmon juvenals ?

"FANTASV IMPACT" indeed!

Yeah, definitely the Wi-Fi password however, their passwords just became a lot easier to guess now that everyone knows how they pick a password. Admin#2012 for admin password, doubtful but there is a chance.

Seriously, if the SSID and passwords are printed and posted up on the wall, do you think this is a particularly serious infringement? I mean, it's not like i can log on from here is it? or is it...
