My Institute for the Future colleague Sheila Cabangangan, whose auto license plate is a variation on "TARDIS," recently acquired this fine Dalek handcrafted from screws, bolts, and other old metal bits. It's about 7" high and weighs a hefty two pounds. The creator, Metal Souls, offers a wide range of similarly scraptastic models of animals, insects, and science fiction beasties welded from the ruins of old motorcycle and car engines. Metal Souls
