On Something Awful, Rich "Lowtax" Kyanka's seven-year-old daughter Lauren has a guide to Minecraft for budding players and pros alike:

A Seven-Year Old's Guide to Minecraft (Mindcraft 3?)

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

The Snowden Principle

  • Deb Johnson

My daughter that’s 10 years old thinks this is a great guide!  She’s a huge Minecraft fan and really enjoys it in safe mode.  The creepers creep her out, as she says.

  • kartwaffles

Since this came from Lowtax’s kid, I hope her guide emphasizes the importance of having stairs in one’s Minecraft home.

  • Jeremy Mesiano-Crookston

Yeah… no thanks. I don’t want to give Lowtax any of my pageviews for the rest of my life. He’s a creep.
