Hurt myself several times (including getting the "wind knocked out of me" while waiting for my parents to drive me to school to play trombone in a band concert - I swear it wasn't a ploy to get out of playing in the concert, I had to sit there in pain the whole time and pretend to play, unable to breathe properly or blow significant amounts of air). I gave up by sophomore year and focused on girls. I found my skateboard in the basement at my parents' house a few weeks ago and tried it out, and I'm still baffled how anyone manages to jump with these things, much less do these complicated tricks.
