Anybody know the artist who did this cover? I remember seeing so much of it on so many SF and Fantasy covers.

Nice! I have been looking for this font for ages. A variation was used on many Del-Rey fantasy novels from the 80′s most notably Lawrence Watt-Evans Ethshar books. The ligatures on some of the caps were amazing!

I have that Masks module for Call of Cthulhu, the first edition. Now I know what font was used.
