Does anyone who owns one know how to get it open. Mine seems to be stuck, and there's no instructions on how to get the damned thing apart.

'days'? not so much. with gps and bluetooth on, my Juice Pack Air gets me to about 5 PM. I don't even use it that much at work.
I am investing in the Ureka at Kickstarter, bigger battery and slimmer body. Hope it gets made...

As an owner of a Juice Pack Air, I'd say this was necessary. I liked the extra battery power, but I wanted some kind of protection for the phone. And I couldn't do both; it's either find a sturdy battery pack or put a protective case on the phone. This does both.

Having said that, I used the juice pack air on my 3G iPhone. I've moved on to a 4S, and I'm happy with the battery life, for now. And I like the (possibly fake) Element Vapor Pro case I'm currently using.

I've owned two. The first one's connector broke. Then I got the Juice Pack Air 'cause Amazon reviews said the connector was sturdier. And it's been working great for almost a year now, couldn't be happier with it. I actually like the micro USB connector better than an apple connector 'cause it works with all my old motorola chargers and basically every other cell phone charger I encounter these days. And I was able to buy two spare cables online for something like $5. Makes it actually easier to charge it and saves the apple connectors for my other devices.

I've owned a couple of Mophies, and while I really appreciate the extra battery life (especially when traveling and using the GPS a lot), I don't think I will be buying another one. The weak point for me has been the micro-USB connector. Both of my Mophie cases eventually broke at that connector - it is just not very robust. And it is also a pain to have to carry a separate cable for plugging in when it is in the case - why couldn't they just find a way to use the standard dock connector? (I imagine because then they would have to pay Apple $$$?)

Now all you need is an M41A pulse rifle to attach it to and a sonar/movement app. Preferably an app that gives you Bill Paxton quotes as the aliens get closer..."I've got movement, they're all over the place man."

The two most offensive greebles (yes!) are the ones around the ear piece and the home button. They look like they could be easily trimmed off with an xacto. It could probably done very smoothly too. Or, you could do it in an exaggerated fashion, making it look like damaged sustained in combat, when you were "in the shit, man."

I have their slightly less expensive 2000 mAh case and it is not all butched up like this one, its pretty much smooth. This thing speaks to me though, and what it says is "I'm not going in your pocket without a struggle".
