Yeah, I think it’d be hilarious with beards etc….
I have a beard and When I have to walk through a really strong wind storm I can feel it tugging. Maybe with a big 1970s beard, it could manage to pull the chin up to the forehead or something….

Leaf blower. I think in the original still series there was a shot of the blower. No oil is discharged since the motor is separate from the fan.

I don’t know. Since the artist also featured men on the photographs (previously posted), I thought that this was a bit of a parody of, well… just about 80% of commercials: Oh here are mysterious, sultry, sexy women in slow motion and they’ll think you’re cool if you buy our… HAHA! KIDDING!!! XD

Which is super lame. Seems like the effect would work just as well / be equally ridiculous on men. Also, I’m guessing that video is called “People Getting Hit in the Face with a Powerful Jet of Air,” because that title is both funnier and more marketable than, “Women Getting Hit in the Face with a Powerful Jet of Air.”

Sort of feels like they noticed the problem after they made the video and tried to head it off at the pass.

Exactly. Then you could say, ‘Video of guys getting a blow job’ surely this will be the only one out there that is safe for work.
“But boss, maybe I was looking at a video of a air jet being blown in the face of a guy! Just because my google search phrase was, “video of guys getting a blow job” doesn’t mean I wanted to find something SEXUAL! See, there is the actual video I was looking for!” Yeah, that’ll work.

I’m doubting the air was provided by a compressor. I don’t think you get enough air volume out of most compressors for something like this. I would think some type of turbine/impeller setup would be better. Like a leaf blower or car turbo, but larger and variable speed.

Many air compressors can emit oil particles in the air stream. This doesn’t matter if the air is driving power tools. However compressed air for things like air brushing need to be oil free.

I wonder what the air source in the videos was.
