Our dear pal Adam "Ape Lad" Koford has done us the honor of adapting Jackhammer Jill as a Twitter avatar, in his characteristic style, and plunking the result in the Boing Boing Flickr pool.

bOINGbOING's Jackhammer Jill Avatar

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

The technology that links taxonomy and Star Trek

Nice! Floats like a butterfly, stings like a jackhammer.

  • machinelf

Very cool! Although it looks more like Syringe Jill.

  • Ito Kagehisa

This version is much more curvaceous, eh?

    • http://boingboing.net/ Rob Beschizza

      If you like curves… http://boingboing.net/2007/12/08/boing-boing-tshirts.html

      • Halloween_Jack

I’ve got that one, Rob, and it’s probably my favorite glow-in-the-dark T-shirt. I’d like one of this design, too, if they print it on a shirt that’s a darker red than that background.

      • Ito Kagehisa

Great shirt, Rob!  But leaping jeebus, the comment thread reads like a bad day on feministing.

A flagrant violation of Twitter’s new logo rules.

    FLAGRANT.

    • relawson

Hah! I thought it looked twitter bird style, too!
