It’s not a filter. Since there are still people out there who actually use old fashioned art tools like watercolor and know the difference between a filter and the actual watercolor medium, I would say this is definitely watercolor. Not every artist out there is a slave to PS and not every awesome piece of art or photograph you see has to be Photoshopped. Geezus….

If that IS a photoshop filter, I WANT it!

It looks very authentic, but many of the frames make me wonder why more attention isn’t on the figures and faces when other details are there. It could be artistic interpretation w/ negative space. But I also seem to sense some patterns in the art as the frames change.

Looks like real art to me. I can tell by the watermarks, and from having seen many artworks in my time.

But seriously, the 4 fps practically gave me a seizure. Looks like Bill Plympton on acid.

I wondered if the audio should have been similarly treated. Perhaps soaking it in fashionable 78 rpm noise would be equivalent to ‘water colouring’ the sound.

Rendering a frame from Blade Runner in any paper-based medium was one of my homework assignments in design school. I suspect that’s a pretty common assignment since it’s so atmospheric.

Have to admit. I almost think this was done with filtering rather than hand drawn watercolors. The Police station scenes were almost unviewable from the point of view offiguring out what was going on.

However I have to take my hat off to the guy for giving this sort of mix job a try. He tried, and wasn’t afraid of sharing. So I must admire that.
